Fantastic Shaman's Bags, Papua New Guinea |
Fantastic Shaman's Magic Bag from the 1950's. Made from woven fibers with attached bones and magic substances still inside, undisturbed. Ex-Paulian Missionaries. This, along with a warehouse full of artifacts collected by the Paulian order in the years following W.W.II was sealed in 1963 and not opened until 2000, when I purchased this and several other items in the collection.

This bag is from a different source, but is also a great decoration piece. One side is completely covered in feathers from the round, woven bag.
